We have a BHRA celebrity! Our sweet little Pellee, who was adopted in August of 2009 by the Nelson Family of Hixon, Tennessee was recently featured in a newspaper article! If click on the image here you can see her feature. Congratulations Miss Pellee!!
Hello I am Terri Davis Of Odenville ,Al. and when I seen Pelle at the pound my heart just broke.She hadn't been given a bath and had been there for a few weeks.So because I love bassets so much I took her out of the cage and Miss Pelle got her a bath. I cam home and contacted Trudy. I am so glad this sweet little lady got her forever home.

How fun to see this article here! Glad you found it as we haven't had much time to post anything. Pellie has been the greatest dog you could ever imagine! She sleeps with Katie at night and our 2 year old will climb all around her, even while she's eating, and she doesn't do anything to her. She's living a very pampered life here! Thank you for rescuing her. She's perfect!
