It is with a very heavy heart that BHRA announces the passing of our sweet girl, Minnie Pearl. Anyone that met her knew what a truly lovely hound she was. Her foster family took her in as their own and loved her for a very long time. We appreciate all the love and kindness they showed her and the extraordinary compassion they showed in her time of need. You will be sadly missed by all, sweet Minnie Pearl!
Her foster mom, Molly Armstrong, had this to say about Minnie Pearl,
"Minnie Pearl was the sweetest, happiest dog I've seen to have gone through what all she did. One of her favorite things to do was snuggle. Her best buddy was our grey Nero. They had their favorite chair and very frequently found themselves together sleeping in it. She loved everyone she met. She was always there to lick our tears away and always tried to make a sad moment tolerable. We miss her so badly and look forward to seeing her again at the rainbow bridge."

I just don't know what to say! That hound stole my heart from the moment I met her. God bless you at the bridge Minnie Pearl. You were a very special and loved girl.
ReplyDeleteI transported Minnie Pearl into BHRA and loved her the minute I lay eyes on her. She was so shy and nervous, a breeder surrender. she had been just so used up for breeding. Then the surgerie she went thru but out of all that came a beautiful heart full of love and kindness. A fun seeker, a snuggle bunny. I so appreciate the care provided her by Calera Animal Clinic and Oneonta Animal Hospital and of course the Armstrong family. We all loved her but know she is happy and whole playing across the Rainbow Bridge with all the others. Have fun sweet Minnie Pearl.
